Homework for the Weekend

Math Mr. Glasheen/Mrs. Albinson: Study for the five point quiz on Monday. Also, complete the work book assignment: pg. 26, questions 10, and 11.



Biology Mr. Waszmer: Nothing (or finish lab- not sure when it's due)
- Mrs. Gurascio: Complete end-of chapter questions for chapter 8, but only numbers 1-29. Expect a quiz on your homework (so don't copy during lunch) :-D



Spanish B Mrs. McDermott: Finish the bottom of the sheet (you have to write some sentences on the back. Also, study the vocab and verb forms for the quiz on Wednesday*. ALSO, period 3 must learn the interview answers for presentation Monday. *Quiz is Wednesday for period 3, it is not known at this time when other periods have this quiz.
- Mrs. Krisa: Test next week on imperfect tense. Period 3, learn the interview answers for presentation Monday.


German Mr. Esser:


AP World History Dr. Gold: Form a thesis statement based on what we watched today in class, what we read (the 6 pages of Stearns), and the packet we received in class. Since half of the class received different packets, make sure your thesis statement corresponds to your packet. We will have a quiz on chapter 14 on Wednesday.
- Ms. Chase: YAY FOR END OF TEST! And yet, everyone must continue on our assigned track. Read, read, read! Some periods have a quiz Friday, some the following Monday. Part IV, the World Shrinks, 1450-1750 pg. 350-357.

English Natural Connections Mr. Elliot: Start reading you independent plays. The time-frame to complete them will be about 2 weeks.

Homework for Thursday

Math Mr. Glasheen/Mrs. Albinson: In the work book, complete page 26, questions 3 and 7. Graph them on a separate sheets of graph paper. (Period 4- do one on front and one on back of graph paper)



Biology Mr. Waszmer: Nothing.
- Mrs. Gurascio: Photosynthesis worksheet (8-3) due tomorrow. Wizard of Oz people ONLY: it's not due until Monday.



Spanish B Mrs. McDermott: Finish the verb sheet.
- Mrs. Krisa: On looseleaf, answer question 1-4 on page 165 only



German Mr. Esser: NONE



AP World History Dr. Gold: Read all of chapter 14 tonight.
- Ms. Chase: YAY! Essay is done, but studying is not- multiple choice tomorrow! Study hard! (I recommend using ABlongman and the student manual that accompanies our textbook. Very helpful resources for studying multiple choice & vocab- KB)


English Natural Connections Mr. Elliot: Have your Shakespeare book (play) by tomorrow. Also, according to Mr. Elliot on Wednesday when he assigned this task, you were supposed to come up to him BEFORE Friday and ask if you could borrow one of his plays.

Math Mr. Glasheen/Mrs. Albinson: Period 4- Prove that JOHN is a parallelogram. If you need the coordinates, leave a comment. No HW for period 3.



Biology Mr. Waszmer: None!
- Mrs. Gurascio: Read 8-2 and be able to answer three questions on it for tomorrow.



Spanish B Mrs. McDermott: Write three sentences for each picture (we did the first 2 in class) on page 159 using the preterite and imperfect tenses.
- Mrs. Krisa: Study imperfect endings- Pop quiz soon!



German Mr. Esser:



AP World History Dr. Gold: There is a quiz tomorrow on chapter 13 (20 question quiz mult. choice, no extended response)
- Ms. Chase: If you do not know, you have some serious studying to do tonight for the LARGE two-day test- essay part tomorrow (either compare or change over time) and multiple choice Friday- On ENTIRE postclassical period. Chapters 6-15. Good luck!


English Natural Connections Mr. Elliot: Read Rome and Juliet Act III; for Friday, bring in one of Shakespeare's plays in its entirety and be prepared to independently read it over the next few weeks. Examples of difficult plays include Richard III and other historical plays and Hamlet. For lighter reading, you may choose A Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing, Taming of the Shrew, The Tempest. For comparisson, Romeo and Juliet falls into the "Medium difficulty" range.

Math Mr. Glasheen/Mrs. Albinson: None!



Biology Mr. Waszmer: DNA Test Tomorrow- also, have 3-2 and 3-4P done.
- Mrs. Gurascio: Read 8-1 in preparation for a short quiz in class tomorrow (ATP).



Spanish B Mrs. McDermott: the same thing as yesterday, complete the 10 sentenses.
- Mrs. Krisa: 10 sentences on what your parents used to. It should be about a certain age in their life, when they were younger.



German Mr. Esser:



AP World History Dr. Gold: I was not in school for the first half, so I am not sure what he told you, but I do know there is a quiz on chapter 13.
- Ms. Chase: Essay portion of test Thursday (either compare and contrast or change over time) and M.C. Friday. Extra help is tomorrow during lunch.



English Natural Connections Mr. Elliot: None!
